The Information Standard
Sense is a certified member of The Information Standard, a quality assurance standard established by the Department of Health to improve the quality of health and social care information.
Sense embraces the aims and objectives of the Information Standard and intends to comply with all aspects and requirements of the scheme. We intend to use the Standard to:
- help deafblind people make informed decisions about their lives
- assure deafblind people, their families, and practitioners working with them that our information is gathered from reliable sources
- maintain and improve our information production system and the quality of our health and social care information
All Sense information that has been produced in accordance with the scheme, whether online or in print format is marked with the Information Standard logo which is displayed below right.
