Join a Fundraising Supporter Group in your area

Fundraising Supporter Groups play a vital role for the charity by raising awareness around the work that Sense do in the community and as the local face of many of our campaigns.

Get involved in your local community and make a difference by joining a regional Sense Supporter Group. You can meet like-minded people, take part in social activities and get active by planning fundraising initiatives as part of a group throughout the year. As a member of a group you’ll be helping us to support deafblind people in your local community and around the UK.

Our fundraising groups work closely with the Sense Fundraising Team and meet regularly to plan each year’s exciting events. This could include a mother toddler sponsored walk in a local park, a pub quiz or a charity ball. We will provide you with everything you need for the role and a member of the team is always on hand to answer any questions. The funds that you raise are crucial and there is a role for everyone in the team.

Who should apply?

If you are enthusiastic with a will to get involved with your local community then we would love to hear from you. Our Supporter Group members all have something different to offer and we know your time is precious so there is no commitment to set hours we just ask that you attend the groups meetings and contribute what you are able. Each of our groups have a Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary and group members who are allocated a certain area to focus on so if you have a specific interest or skill then please list it in your application.

How do I apply?

If you are interested in becoming a supporter group member simply download the application form or contact the Fundraising Team on 0300 330 9257 or email
