Friendly multi-sports sessions for young people aged 14-25. Come along and try a range of fun activities including hockey, tennis, football, cricket and basketball! Family and carers are welcome to come along and join in too.

Peterborough - Yoga

Gentle, friendly yoga sessions for adults. Family, friends, carers and assistance dogs are welcome to attend too.

West Midlands - Adapted Cycling

Friendly adapted cycling sessions for people aged 14+. Come along and try a range of different bikes including tandems, trikes, hand-pedalled bikes and wheelchair-friendly bikes. Family and carers are welcome to come along and join in too.

London - Climbing

These climbing sessions are for people aged 18+ who have a sensory impairment or complex need. Parents, carers and support workers are very welcome to come along and join in.

Before you climb, you are welcome to visit the Castle Climbing Centre at 11-12pm on 7 Feb, 2017 to explore the sights, smells, touch and acoustics of the centre.

Date: There will be two blocks of six week sessions. 1st block: Tuesdays, 11-12pm on 14, 21, 28 February, 7, 14, 21 March. 2nd block: Wednesdays, 10-11am on 29 March, 5,12,19, 26 April, 3 May
Time: 1st block 11-12pm, 2nd block: 10-11am
Venue: The Castle Climbing Centre, Green Lanes, Stoke Newington, London N4 2HA.

The British Mountaineer Council is the governing body for climbing and can provide further information on climbing opportunities for people with disabilities and additional needs.

London - Ice Skating

These sessions are for people aged 14 years or over with a sensory impairment or complex needs. Parents, carers and support workers are very welcome to come along and join in.

Free taster sessions on Wednesday 22 Feb and 1 March 2017 at 12-1pm

Date: Sessions will be on-going during term time on Wednesdays 11-12pm at a cost of £7.50 per session.

Sensory session taking place

London - Sensory sessions

These sports themed sensory sessions are for individuals (14+) who are deafblind or have single sensory impairments as well as having additional physical and/or complex support needs which may mean other activities are not as accessible for them.

Dates: 1st block of sessions: 26 Nov, 3, 10, 17 Dec. 2nd block of sessions: 14, 21, 28 Jan, 4, 11, 18, 25 Feb and 4 March 2017

12 & 19 November 2016
Time:
1.00-2.00pm
Venue: New Barnet & Southgate, Learning Disability Centre of Excellence, Southgate Campus, High Street, Southgate, London, N14 6BS
Cost: Free. These sessions will start free of charge but we may have to look at a nominal contribution to the sessions being asked for in the New Year to support the sustainability of the project.
