Sense College is an Independent Specialist College (ISC) operating in the East Midlands and the East of England.

“Our philosophy is that we always put the individual first. We support and work with each learner so that they can grow in confidence, develop independence skills and have opportunities for personal fulfilment. Sense College aims to inspire each individual’s capacity to learn and develop their potential.

The College’s specialist curriculum enables all learners to make significant progress towards the life goals they have chosen and each achievement is fully recognised, embraced and celebrated.

With professionally qualified specialist education staff and high quality multi-sensory facilities, Sense College is at the forefront of provision.”

Sense College

The college is committed to providing the best quality education and lifelong learning experience by supporting young people and adults with sensory loss and additional disabilities – and a broad range of needs and abilities.

We do this through offering a range of Education and Everyday Living programmes to meet the differing needs of educational learners and adult social care/day service individuals.

Sense College operates on a geographically dispersed, multi-site delivery model. Each one of our six resource centres is welcoming and provides a range of specialist multi-sensory equipment to help meet the needs of our supported individuals and learners.

The College and its associated services are overseen and directed by a College Senior Management Team. The College also partners with other stakeholders including general further education colleges to provide opportunities to progress and attain at a higher level.
